Is Design for me? I don't know anymore. I've been feeling miserable lately due to depression caused by bloody ******* and her stupid incompetence. Well, I don't think I want to blame her anymore. I shall blame myself from now on. Damn me for being so dumb at Flash, damn me for not being able to understand anything and damn me for not being able to overcome my laziness.
Class was at its worst today. I wanted to die when I got paired up with Janine but actually, I wanted to die when noone EXCEPT Janine acknowledged that I was in the class. Everything was so full of bullshit that I justed wanted to stab every fucking person in the class - even myself. It's not fun when your lecturer tells you that your idea was crap and the fact you couldn't come up with something better was due to everyone coming with well...MORE BS.
I'm going back to the 3pm thanks. I am willing to trade every stupid person in that 12pm class just for two people who sincerely care and like me for who I am: ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) cleyra and digimax . Kthx.

I am a wreck. I went to school to collect my portfolio today and I did so fucking bad but my lecturer, Shirlyn, seems to be optimistic in her comments. TOO OPTIMISTIC.

Comments : Excellent coloring. Good execution of work.
What did I get? A D+. I seriously wanted to kill myself when I saw my grade. IT'S THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF THE COMMENTS SHE GAVE. ARGH.
My holidays are being consumed by work, work, work. It's friggin depressing.
1. I've not touched Photoshop in ages.
2. I have no friggin idea when Dad wants to buy me the laptop and I don't want to ask him cos he's been damn busy.
3. I want an Ibook. But he's not gonna get me one for sure. digimax, don't comment on this issue pls.
4. I need to redo 90% of the stuff in my portfolio. There's no way in hell I'm gonna get more than one D+. I'll kill myself.

Today started off well. I went out with Qai, Ili and Salman to watch Swan Lake, the ballet performance by the Royal Ballet. It was really nice - elegant set, talented and experienced ballerinas etc. I wasn't bored probably because it was my first time watching a ballet performance so I was fascinated by the graceful movements of the ballerinas, the lovely set and the bg music. It was a good experience and the applause at the end of the ballet was astounding. The ballerinas went out like 5 times to thank the audience lol.
I rushed back home after the show to have dinner with my family. My father got into an argument with mom because she won't let him park where he wanted so he went speeding, crossed a red light and parked into a no parking zone. My father then walked to the restaurant ahead of us, leaving me to deal with my mother. My mother then criticised my dining choice - a new japanese restaurant which just opened in the east. To add salt to injury, I tried to give her some of the food she would have liked to eat but she brushed me off, claiming she wasn't interested.
Something bad ALWAYS happens during the last few days of June.
I'm at my all time low today. I realised how friggin ugly I am when I looked in the mirror today. I'm going to cry myself to sleep *___* I'm FAT. I'm UGLY. I'm FAT. I'm going to save up cash to get me Nakashima's new CD and while doing so, I'll be starving myself. Goodbye fat storage.

Making homemade paper is such a painstaking process. Sure it'll be fun if it's your first time doing it but it seriously becomes exhausting when you have to make more than one piece of paper v.v'' I had to make 6 pieces for last week's 3D assignments. Making paper without a frame is the pits. I had to wait 35 mins to an hr for the edges of the paper to dry before I could take the whole damn thing out. I took 5 hours the other day to make 4 pieces of "coloured" paper - pathetic rgt?
Shall I put the recipe for handmade paper up?...Nah =P You'll thank me lol. So much hassle *__*
Ms Shirlyn didn't come for 2 weeks and flooded my 2D classmates with homework which I'm doing now while typing this >__<;; Coming up with 100 over different patterns is tiring. My brain is in a dead state and I'm not even halfway done. Bloody homework's due tmr and I still haven't decorated the stupid sketchbook.
Whoever said poly was a breeze should get killed. |

I can't believe Poly's started *____* Thanks to the Temasek FAST System, I won't have the same classmates in each class for the next 3 years. Damn. Before the FAST system was implemented, everyone had the same classmates for 3 years - now won't that be nice? I'm getting quite annoyed because the people I befriended during the Orientation aren't in any of my classes. It's kinda depressing but people who are in my classes aren't that bad either.
I knew vlock from her blog some 2 years ago and now she's in the same course as me =D How come you're not in any of my classes( ok except C&E but that doesn't count. Everyone in IMD has C&E on the same day), girl? My mobile phone bill is seriously going to skyrocket this month lol - my friends and I usually call each other up to meet and have lunch together.
Oh btw, I HAVE DRAWING CLASSES!!! *___* Shit. I can't hardly wait til next semester when I can finally use a computer -___- Anywho, I attended 2D drawing class yesterday and my lecturer, Shirlyn, is damn nice. She doesn't criticise and helps us out one by one. Doesn't matter though. I SUCK AT DRAWING! We're supposed to draw any 3 items so I tried drawing out my mobile and some pens. elvealique says she couldn't tell that the huge blob in the middle of the drawing block was actually my mobile phone *sighs* |

EDIT : I'm going Malacca(a state in Malaysia) for a relative's wedding this weekend. Yes, more shopping and I'll bring my cam along too :3 Hai, more pictures. So until then, sayonara!
I took some pictures with my cheap $50 cam (v.V'' Dad didn't lemme borrow his Canon Ixus) when I was in KL in December. My recent trip to KL was in March but I didn't brg the cam along because I was lazy >__< KL a.k.a Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia and it's approximately a 5 hr drive from Singapore (4 hrs if your dad loves speeding *coughs*)
5.30AM : Wake up.
6AM : Get into Dad's Car. Ok obviously I didn't take this at 6 am in the morning lol. My dad took this when he first bought the camera. He loves this car too much ><
10AM++ : Reach KL. This is the outskirts of the city. The grass plain you see is actually the military airport.
11AM : SHOPPING!The malls there open at 10 am ++ so you don't have to wait outside like a bunch of loners lol. The mall I took pictures of is SURIA KLCC which is a rather nice place to shop. It's like Singapore's Takashimaya. You have the expensive labels on the top floor and 2 dept stores eg. ISETAN(A japanese dept. store). They have Kinokuniya too <3
This is the nice giant purple Xmas tree in the atrium. I love those lanterns. I'm going to steal one of them next Xmas to put in my room.

3PM : Check into our hotel. We were staying at the Park Royal Hotel next to KL's shopping hub. The interior design/furniture were so futuristic!
This is the hotel lobby. I want to take one of those cool lamps home!
The hotel lounge has this really good atmosphere and god I love the furnishing.
While Dad went to the reception counter, I checked out the hotel's cafe. This is my favourite place in the hotel! Daisuki da yo!
How can you not fall in love with the interior?
And the food?? The cakes were surprisingly affordable O_O
4PM : It is a tradition for my brothers and I to go check out the pool before going up to our room everytime we stay at a new hotel XD The pool here is on the 6th floor or somethg.

6PM : After relaxing in our room etc, it's time for an early dinner and some more shopping!!
This was my dinner for the night. A Soba + teriyaki fish on rice bento! Whee :3 You can get this at Isetan's sushi bar for SGD$4.50 And yes, oishii desu.

I got back from Malaysia 2 days ago ^^ I managed to get rid of my fever the night before my trip because all the Panadol pills I consumed. It was a nice trip even though the only stuff I bought were clothes and magazines *_* My favourite pirated CD/DVD shop got raided by the police. Damn. digimax left for Shanghai this morning taking my list with him. I want my Dir En Grey Concert DVD now ;__;
Anyway, I met three pretty Japanese women( Kaori-san, Miyuki-san & Naoko-san) at one of the malls in Malaysia. I heard them babbling in Japanese and went up to them ^___^ We talked for a bit. They were really nice and I got really excited because I understood some of their Japanese babble XD

I woke up at the crack of dawn with a runny nose, a sore throat and a slight fever. I knew it would get worse if I didn't eat my panadol then so I trudged down the stairs and mashed up a panadol pill with a spoon and some drops of hot water. I can't swallow pills *hides*

I was watching The Contender last night. It's a boxing reality show Sylvester Stallone is involved in. I don't fancy sports esp. violent ones but I was pretty bored to I watched 30 mins of it so I could pass the time. It was 9.30 pm then and I wanted to watch Desperate Housewives at 10pm. Anyway, last night's match was SO intense. I couldn't catch my breath and realised my heart was beating really really fast. I read an article in the newspaper last year about this kid who died of heart problems. He could have been saved if his parents had taken him to the hospital when he had complained that his heart was beating too fast earlier in the afternoon. Anyway, that scared the hell outta me so I went up to my parent's room and they didn't even blink an eye when I told them my heart was beating too fast.
Dad (typing out somethg) : Too fast? Go to sleep.
Mom (watching TV) : Go drink water and sit down.
Me : I don't want to die!
Mom & Dad : ...
>__< Ok so I was expecting me to take me to the hospital lol. Anyway, my heart's fine now after that glass of water and sitting down for a couple of minutes. KOWAII DA YO! I guess nurses are always right then.
Anyway, my dad won a lucky draw (again)
He won a 17 inch Samsung LCD TV & a Canon PIXMA ip300 *__* He's so lucky. |

Durian flavoured tapioca chips from Thailand don't taste like durians at all o.o I can't explain how it tastes like - it's just weird and very VERY addictive.
I downloaded an English album by Miz. She's Japanese but her english is good surprisingly. Her lyrics are great i.e they make perfect sense *_* I've been listening to her over and over again. Her voice is similar to Tomiko Van of D.A.I. Seriously, I could have mistaken her for Tomiko lol.

Dad came back from Thailand yesterday bringing back lotsa prezzies for me. I got my first REAL bottle of perfume lol. Rockin' Rio, a limited edition Summer fragrance by fashion house ESCADA. It's got this blend of pineapple and mango base notes. YUM! XD I thought my dad bought me the 50 ml bottle but it's 100 ml/ 3.4 FL. OZ bottle *_*;; My dad can go crazy at the duty free shops in the airport sometimes. He bought the 100 ml bottle because it came with more freebies >__<'' I got a new ESCADA pencil case and the perfume miniature ( kawaii!) And he got me a new sling bag too. It's made of denim mwahaha.
Is it my birthday already? XD
I downloaded Mika Nakashima's new album, MUSIC. I'm giving it 10/10. Her new songs are awesome! Ayumi Hamasaki has a new single called "STEP you/is this love?" according to certain reliable sources. If it's anything like the new tracks on MY STORY, I'm giving up on Ms Hamasaki.
I'm spending my time away frm my PC so I won't be on MSN much. Maybe for half an hour a day XD XD |

Last week was such a wreck. I had to go down to TP three times for my DeAE registration & interview.
Thursday Morning
I called TP's Design Sch up to ask if I needed to brg anything down for the DAE thgy.
Woman : "Oh you don't have to brg anythg. Just come down to the auditorium bla bla"
When I got to TP's auditorium, I found out I had to brg my CCA form, NRIC & Results slip. I even had to photocopy them -____- Luckily, there were 2 photocopying machines down there - if they weren't there, I would have been real pissed. I went back home, took my documents and went back to TP. I registered and had to wait THREE hours before they called my name. By then, it was 7 pm v__V'' I could choose my interview dates so I chose the one on the very next day. I reached home at 8 pm and I slaved for 4 hours on my portfolio v.V
Friday Morning
11.20 AM Surprisingly, I only had to wait for 5 mins only. People who had their interviews at a later time than me were already there lol so imagine the look on their faces when I got to go in first ^__^ The interview was very VERY informal. The lecturers were nice and didn't bite. After presenting my portfolio, I was told outside. 5 mins later, one of the lecturers went out and told me I was accepted in IMD. YATTA!
Mom's damn happy lol. She keeps repeating " You see, now that you've got a place - you don't have to worry on whether you're going to make it or not. Like those JAE people." >__ |

Ok there's only 2 more days left til the JAE is over and I've not ranked my choices. All I know is that my first choice is Interactive Media Design (TP) I guess that's a start. I originally wanted Visual Comm (TP again) to be my 2nd choice but Im now having second thoughts. Visual Comm is seriously 100% design and I'm afraid that I won't survive in the industry without the web scripting bla bla bla IMD offers.
And when the hell is DeAE going to start? I think I'll go for that interview.

WTH! THE PAPER SUCKED SO BAD. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE WORST SCIENCE PAPER I HAD TO TAKE. They must have done some major moderation. I think I would have failed if they didn't do the moderation.

This is one major shock. I love Bio more than Chem *___*;;; It's just plain weird. And I thought the paper was easier than Chemistry too.
Malay - B3 (Used to be a B4)
AHAHHAHAAHAHA. The paper was seriously so much harder than the June paper. Those Malay teachers marking the paper must be feeling a lil' sick or somethg. I didn't think there would be any chance for me to improve my grade.
The world is a crazy place to live in. My results are nothing but a miracle.
